CASE STUDY: LAMBS CHILD LEARNING SCHOOL (A nonprofit making School)

LOCATION   : LOCATED 2KM ALONG BUSABALA ROAD, WAKISO DISTRICT.

 THEME     : “WE CARE FOR CHILDREN”

 EVENT DATE& Time: 12th, 06, 2017, 11:00 AM

 

Education is one of the most important factors in a child’s life.

In-Line Print Services Ltd took this opportunity to have an outreach to the community by donating to a nonprofit making local school in wakiso district located 2km along Busabala road as one of the CSR campaigns this year.

The donation has been done by  providing scholastic items that are in short supply to the school which includes ,pens, pencils, exercise books ,black books, colored pencils, toilet papers,  Sanitary pads for the girl children .

This CSR activity was a good PR for the company and also publicity has been obtained since the all event was covered by media houses, to mention they included; Monitor publications Ltd (Daily monitor), Bukedde &urban TVs,& new vision newspaper that didn’t turn up for few reasons.

At 8:00 a.m. sharp this CSR event began with branding and packing of the donation items by the In-Line team,

At around 10:30 a.m.  Our team set off to the donation venue (Lambs learning center) and reached the venue at exactly 11:00 a.m.

 3.0 PART2 (Welcoming)

In-Line Print Services Ltd team was warmly welcomed by the school’s headmistress as we arrived at the school’s packing yard, she then lead us to the school’s premises as we reached we were welcomed by the teachers also.

Immediately to the head teacher moved us around the school premises as we were greeting the kids and showing love to them that is from baby class to primary seven.

Thereafter our team had one on one interaction with the head teacher and the director the school (Mr. Ssewanyana Patrick) as we posed questions to and received responses from them.

There after the interaction with the administrators, they called for an assembly for the kids to officially welcome their visitors.

The gathering began with singing   of the anthems (East African, Uganda, and the Buganda anthems).

There after the school’s representative addressed our team and officially warmly welcomed us and thanked us for the visit .we also received entertainment from the children as per class.

After the interesting and inspiring entertainment, representatives from In-line print services ltd (that is to say Daisy, Nancy and charity) addressed the school’s community by giving speeches while counseling, Educating, inspiring the young children on the importance of education.” Giving credit to the team”, they did a wonderful job in motivating the children and letting them know the importance of education.

PART3 (Media Houses Interviews)

In-line print Services ltd representatives had interviews from the media houses’ present that is to say, Monitor, Bukedde&Urban TVs.

PART4 (Donation time)

Our team assembled the donation items(included; 4QUIRE Counter books,90pg Exercise books, pens, pencils and crayons, Toilet papers & sanitary pads plus  soft drinks for the children.) in front of the school assembly and began opening  the packs(boxes) one by one for distribution.

Distribution began with giving out sanitary pads to the girl children from primary five to primary seven ,group photos  were taken as our team was distributing the pads, the gave out the rest of the items to the staff so that  they well supplied to those kids that are needy for each class.

There after we took group photos, as we handing over the items to the school. We also too photos the children, teachers, administrators and then finally said bye to the entire school community.

Our team was accompanied by the school’s head teacher and director. Before departing we once again had a group photo as the representatives of In-Line Print Services Ltd for outreach event and also once again with the administrators.

   

CONCLUSION

In conclusion the event was successful, everybody was happy, the teachers, children, administrators and our team at large. The event was wonderful PR for the company

And of promise to the Outreach that someone out there (In-Line Print Services Ltd)

Cares for the disadvantaged and needy children.

“We Care for children” is the perfect way to let teachers, administrators, and children and the entire community know someone cares.
